Houston County Prayer Gathering on Patriot Day
Patriot Day is an annual observance held on the 11th of September. The day was created in2001 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President George W. Bush.
The Houston County Community Prayer Gather will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2019, from noon-1:00 P.M at the Old Houston County Court House Lawn on Carroll Street, Perry, GA.
Everyone is welcome to attend this free event to pray across denominational, racial, cultural, and age boundaries. Local Pastors and Lay Persons lead in intercession for The Family; Churches and Ministry Organizations; The military; The Government; Business/Economy; Education; The Media; Arts & Entertainment; and The Peace of Jerusalem. Perry High School JROTC will present the Colors. We will recognize and pray for Representatives of Houston County First Responders. This will not be a political gathering, rather a prayer event.
