The 2026 State of the Base was held on Thursday, 23 April in the Museum of Aviation Century of Flight Hangar. A crowd of nearly 400 community leaders, development partners, and base supporters showed up to hear from RAFB leadership about what Robins Air Force Base has accomplished in the last year and discuss their priorities and progress moving forward.
This year’s panel included Colonel Johari Hemphill, Base Commander, Robins Air Force Base; Major General Regina A. Sabric, Deputy Commander, Air Force Reserve Command; Ms. Dana Stanley, Deputy Director, Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex; Colonel Sandra Bonney, Commander, 461st Air Control Wing; Colonel Christopher Dunlap, Commander, 116th Air Control Wing, and Laura Mathis, Executive Director, Middle Georgia Regional Commission presented our Local Perspective and Global Outlook.
