MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

We have two big announcements I want to draw your attention to this week. First of all, I am excited to let you know that we have just added another rock star to our team and can’t wait to introduce, or more likely reintroduce, you to Kelly McWilliams.

Kelly is a Middle Georgia native and has spent the past seven years developing content and relationships to help foster growth and engagement throughout the region. She comes to us with a depth of experience in video production, project management, and business support. We are delighted to welcome her to the Robins Regional Chamber team.

Kelly will work closely with Chamber members on many of our signature programs and events, as well as, bringing her expertise to some of our new virtual engagement opportunities.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys blues and fusion dancing, reading works of fiction, analyzing good TV shows and movies with friends, and going on nature walks. She and her husband, Richard, have been married 8 years and enjoy traveling when they get a chance and spoiling their cat, Pounce.

A note from Kelly –

“I am honored and truly excited to join the Robins Regional Chamber. This is a rock star team that I have had the privilege to get to know as a member of the Chamber over the past six years, and I am eager to work alongside them. The Robins Regional Chamber has always demonstrated commitment and excellence for its members, and I look forward to contributing to that legacy.”

Join us in welcoming Kelly back to work in Houston County as part of our Chamber team!

Secondly, we are hard at work preparing for the upcoming primary election to provide access to candidates for local and state seats representing Houston County. Once again, we will partner with 13WMAZ to present a Candidate Forum online on Tuesday, October 6 at 7:00 p.m. This virtual forum will premiere on 13WMAZ.com, Facebook, and YouTube. Recorded content will be available for future viewing. We have confirmed candidates for Houston County Commission, District Attorney, Superior Court Clerk, and State Representative, and we need questions from you to make this forum as impactful and informative as it can be.
