Program details

Leadership Robins Region is a ten-month experience designed for professionals who want to deepen their understanding of Middle Georgia while building relationships with fellow leaders across the region.

Participants attend twelve full-day sessions exploring the issues, institutions, and opportunities shaping our community. Topics include economic development, healthcare, education, public safety, government, military affairs, workforce development, and quality of life.

The CliftonStrengths curriculum is woven throughout the program, helping participants better understand how they lead, collaborate, and contribute within their organizations and communities.

To ensure a meaningful experience for every participant, class size is limited and attendance is expected at all sessions.

Why it matters

Leadership Robins Region gives participants a deeper understanding of the people, places, and decisions shaping Middle Georgia.

Over the course of the year, participants step outside their day-to-day roles and into the region they are helping lead. They visit key employers, civic institutions, military partners, schools, nonprofits, and local government offices while building relationships with classmates and community leaders across sectors.

The result is more than professional development. Participants leave with stronger regional awareness, a broader network, and a clearer sense of how they can help move Middle Georgia forward.

Starting the Journey Earlier

Leadership development doesn't begin in adulthood.

Youth Leadership Robins Region brings the same immersive regional experience to high school juniors across Houston County - at Northside, Warner Robins, Houston County, Veterans, Westfield, and area home and private schools. Students are selected based on character, community interest, and leadership potential, and spend the year learning how Middle Georgia actually works - and why it's worth staying for.

Applications are available through school counselors in the early spring of their sophomore year.
