Kicking off the holiday season, the largest parade in Georgia south of Atlanta included 160 parade entries and drew over 1,600 in attendance. The 59th Annual Robins Regional Christmas Parade was sponsored by Robins Financial Credit Union with the theme of “Reindeer Games” as an homage to the 2016 Rio Olympics and Middle Georgia’s outstanding athletic departments. This year’s parade was filled with decorative floats, royalty, classic cars, and smiling faces from businesses and organizations across the Robins Region. Highlighting the 59th Annual Robins Regional Christmas Parade were performances by Colby Dee and the Academy of Dance Expressions Company Dancers as well as 2016 Parade Grand Marshal, Kelsey Hollis. This year’s Christmas parade was also graced by three marching bands: Houston County High School’s Black and Silver Brigade, Warner Robins High School Band, and Northside High School’s Blue Wind Band. The Robins Regional Chamber couldn’t have been happier with the execution, turn-out, and feedback received from this year’s parade. It can only get better from here!
