In an effort to pick up where we left off and comply with new regulations, we are excited to announce that we will be bringing back our Eggs & Issues series by hosting TWO legislative Eggs & Issues breakfasts!  The wake of COVID-19 and an interrupted legislative session left space for some big conversations about our state’s recovery, lessons learned, recovery resources, and legislative priorities for the days ahead. We hope you will join us as we restart, reengage, and re-imagine what’s next for the Robins Region. Here are some ways  this event will change in efforts to keep everyone safe and  to comply with the new regulations:
  • In order for us to adhere to CDC Guidelines for proper social distancing, we cannot accommodate walk-up registration.  You must pre-register and pay to attend.  If you do not pre-register & pay, you cannot attend.  We will NOT be taking payments on site.  We accept credit cards online or over the phone as well as check PRIOR to the event.
  • When you enter the Cary W. Martin Conference Center, you will be greeted by a hand sanitizer station and a masked Chamber staff.
  • All Chamber and caterer staff will be wearing masks.  Masks are encouraged for all participants.  If you need one, please ask for one at registration.
  • Registration will be at the conference center doors farthest from the W3 building entrance to accommodate social distancing while you wait in line.  There will be marks on the floor for your convenience.  We ask that you pay attention to these marks for everyone’s comfort.  Remember, if you do not pre-register, you cannot attend the event.
  • We will not be providing name badges.  We encourage you to wear your own.
  • Once you check-in at the registration table, you will proceed into the Cary W. Martin Conference Center.  Each table will have limited seating (6 per table) to maintain social distancing.
  • As you network, please remember, social distancing rules do apply.  No hugs or handshakes allowed.  Thank you for your diligence and consideration of everyone’s comfort level.
  • There will be hand sanitizer available at both ends of the food line, as well as social distancing markers on the floor.  Please use the hand sanitizer & do your part to keep those around you at a safe distance.
  • For your convenience, all food will be individually wrapped and will only be handled by our caterers.
  • BYOC!  Bring your own coffee!  Due to CDC regulations, we will not have self serve coffee.  Please bring your own.  However, we will have bottled water for you to enjoy!
  • When Eggs & Issues is over, we kindly ask you to EXIT out the doors opposite the ones you entered through. (The ones we normally enter!)
  • Your cooperation with following these rules will help to ensure that everyone has a safe & enjoyable experience.

Thank you so much for your continued support of the Robins Regional Chamber!  We look forward to seeing you all soon! If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at 478.922.8585 or email Aura Lee Durham at adurham@robinsregion.com.
