As a result of considerate donations made to the
Robins Regional Education Foundation, the Chamber has been able to touch the lives of thousands in the Robins Region. In 2016, our Youth Leadership Program, sponsored by Chick-fil-A, connected high school students with leaders across the Robins Region that equipped them with the tools necessary for future leadership roles after their post-secondary education. They kicked off 2016 with a trip to the state capitol and met one-on-one with with legislative delegation. Throughout the year, the Youth Leadership team had the opportunity to take behind the scenes tours of Houston County’s Law Enforcement, Fire Department, Court System, and Robins Air Force Base. Ending on a sweet note, the Leadership Robins Region made dreams come true for a special group in Warner Robins. This year’s leadership team dedicated their efforts and community outreach to support Westside Elementary’s STEM initiative by building a greenhouse and outdoor classroom in the interest of education and giving back to their community.
