NEW ATTORNEY ANNOUNCED FOR JAMES-BATES-BRANNAN-GROOVER-LLP
James-Bates-Brannan-Groover-LLP, a full-service law firm with offices in Macon and Atlanta, announces the addition of attorney Elizabeth Hall to the Firm’s Financial Institution and Real Estate practice group.
Elizabeth focuses her practice on all areas of commercial litigation, with a focus on the representation of financial institutions regarding regulatory compliance, regulatory issues including enforcement actions and licensing, bankruptcy, creditor’s rights, collections, workouts, contract litigation, negotiation, commercial real estate and title disputes.
Prior to joining James-Bates-Brannan-Groover-LLP, Elizabeth was senior corporate counsel for CarMax Auto Finance where she worked for five years focusing primarily on providing legal advice and support for their sales finance company concerning licensing, contracts, and compliance with federal laws, state laws, and ordinances. She also has experience in bankruptcy and creditors rights in federal and state court proceedings.
LEARN MORECASTING CALL FOR EXTRAS: ROBINS AFB
A movie is scheduled to be shot mid-July at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, in mid-July. The casting crew is looking for extras to be a part of the team. All races, ethnicities, and backgrounds from Team Robins and their families are welcome to apply.
Selected extras will be paid $80 for eight hours of work with overtime. Meals and refreshments will be provided.
Military members, Department of Defense civilians, contractors and Robins AFB family members ages 5-55 years are encouraged to apply. Children over five years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Minors also must be registered with the Georgia Department of Labor.
Individuals must be in good health, able to stand for an extended period outdoors and walk quickly for 100 yards.
If chosen, you must be available for the duration of the selected shift.
All Team Robins members must be in an off-duty status and notify their supervisor. Active Duty military and civilians must also complete an AF Form 3902.

Five Georgia credit unions were recently named best in the state by Forbes Magazine.
For the second consecutive year, Forbes has partnered with market research firm Statista to survey more than 25,0000 customers in the U.S. about their current and former relationships with financial institutions.
Credit unions were scored on overall recommendations and satisfaction, as well as on trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services, and financial advice. Overall scores ranged from 57.2 to 96.2. Out of 5,000 credit unions in the United States, 149 qualified to be part of Forbes’ list.
Five of those credit unions are based in Georgia:

- Robins Financial Credit Union
- Credit Union of Georgia
- Delta Community Credit Union
- Coosa Valley Credit Union
Middle Georgia Regional Airport Expansion Project Underway
A new expansion project is about to start at the Middle Georgia Regional Airport. The manager there says the airport needs more runway space and services. It was all smiles when Allison and Chris Carroll’s daughter landed at Middle Georgia Regional Airport Monday. They say having Contour Airlines so close to home allows them to enjoy the week of the 4th with their daughter sooner.
