Jennie  lacey with Flint Energies earns CCC

Jennie Lacey was one of fifteen co-op communicators to earn the CCC designation.

The Certified Cooperative Communicator (CCC) Program offers co-op communications staff the opportunity to test and enhance their professional skills, with the goal of earning the CCC credential. Becoming a Certified Cooperative Communicator demonstrates professional competence within the communication field and detailed knowledge of the cooperative industry.

Jennie has been with Flint Energies since 2010, and she has been of Manager of Cooperative Communications since 2017. “I most enjoy creatively educating members and employees about the cooperative difference, and how they can take advantage of their member benefits,” said Jennie.

KELLY HERRINGTON  WITH MORRIS BANK PROMOTED

Kelly Herington of Morris Bank was promoted to the Senior Vice President/Commercial Lending and Houston County Market President position at Highway 96 Office.

Kelly joined Morris Bank as a Commercial Lender in 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Georgia Southern University and is a graduate from Georgia Bankers School at the University of Georgia. His new role will include overseeing all Corporate Banking across the organization as well as all operations in Houston County. He and his wife Melanie, along with their three daughters, Libba, Charlotte, and Ellis call Warner Robins home. Join us in congratulating Kelly on this well-deserved career milestone!

 

 

COLISEUM NORTHSIDE HOSPITAL TO HOST WEIGHT LOSS SEMINAR

SEPTEMBER 26TH

Coliseum Northside Hospital will host a free seminar in Warner Robins on weight loss surgery options that can help alleviate the health problems caused by excess weight.  The seminar will feature bariatric surgeon, Dr. January Hill, who will discuss treatment options that can help with a healthier life. The seminar will be held at Central Georgia Technical College’s Warner Robins campus on Thursday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. in the Sonny Watson Health Sciences Building, Room W113B.

Dr. Hill said, “Sustained weight loss can be often be difficult to achieve on your own. Weight loss surgery can not only help with the weight loss, but it can help with diabetes, blood pressure, and a host of weight-related medical problems.  People can reclaim their lives back and do things they were not able to do because of the impact that obesity had on their health and quality of life.”
