CAR CITY | SEPTEMBER 29TH – 30TH
Putting the Breaks on Homelessness is an annual fundraiser and community awareness initiative event held by Family Promise of Greater Houston County. Hundreds of Middle Georgia families gather for a fun night with a real message. Attendees are encourage to experience homelessness for one night by spending the night in their cars. The Car City fundraiser will take place at Central Georgia Technical College in Warner Robins on Friday September 29th at 6:00 pm though September 30th at 7:00 am. Activities include music, food and refreshments, appearances by hometown celebrities, a movie, a bouncy house, a flashlight scavenger hunt and more!
