On Wednesday, April 19th,  the Robins Regional Education Foundation and Georgia Military College (GMC) awarded $2,000 scholarship funds to GMC student Kelsie Ross.

Over the past four years, the Robins Regional Education Foundation has partnered with Georgia Military College to recognize and award a resident of Houston County pursuing an education degree at GMC, with preference given to a non-traditional student.

This year’s recipient, Kelsie Ross, is currently a paraprofessional at Northside High School in Warner Robins. She says teaching is truly her passion and plans to continue her education in the special needs field.

The Education Foundation disperses thousands of dollars each year in support of a diverse portfolio of programs. These programs work together to develop the current and future workforce of the Robins Region, helping us maintain a vibrant community in which to work, live and play for years to come.
