Every year the Robins Regional Chamber recognizes excellence in its business community by awarding Business Excellence Awards to deserving recipients. The honorees listed below will be formally recognized at the Pinnacle Awards, sponsored by Cox Communications, on January 25th. Selected from the honorees, the Chamber will name the 2017 Small Business of the Year Award (40 FTEs or fewer) and the 2017 Business of the Year Award (more than 40 employees) during the Pinnacle Awards.
2017 Business Excellence Honorees:
A volunteer committee reviews and evaluates all submitted applications. Applications are scored and selected using a point system based on the following criteria:
Staying Power – A demonstrated solid business practice that promotes consumer confidence.
Commitment to Local Economy – A commitment to the local/regional economy.
Sustainability – Demonstration of increase in financial growth.
Business Integrity – Demonstration of ethical business practices.
Adaptation – An illustration of the creativity and imagination of the nominated business.
Response to Challenges – The ability to overcome challenges in which your business has been given.
Community Contribution – Company involvement/contributions in community service activities or civic organizations.
Leadership – Community engagement through leadership.
In order to be eligible for consideration, nominees must be a privately-owned, for-profit entity and a Chamber member in good standing. Previous nominees are eligible for consideration; however, a new nomination must be submitted for the current Chamber year. Nominations may not be carried forward from the previous year.
The Pinnacle Awards, sponsored by Cox Communications, will be held on Thursday, January 25th at 6:00 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott in Warner Robins. The evening’s program consists of the Leadership Robins Region graduation ceremony and several annual awards including the Business Excellence Awards, Robins Regional Rockstars sponsored by Spherion Staffing, Chamber Champion, Ambassador of the Year, Government Service Award, and Lifetime Achievement Award.
