Tennis Complex Ribbon Cutting and Open House August 20
The Houston County Board of Education will host a ribbon-cutting for its Tennis Complex on August 20, 2019. A brief program will be held at 8:00 a.m., followed by a ribbon-cutting and tour.
The new tennis complex has 22 courts, to include two championship courts. The clubhouse consists of a concession area, dressing rooms adjacent to restrooms, an office and a conference room/future pro shop.
The facility is one of the projects funded by the 2017-2022 Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (E-SPLOST). The school district appreciates the support of the community and is thankful that the citizens of Houston County approved the E-SPLOST.
The tennis complex is located at 110 Bear Country Boulevard in Warner Robins, beside Freedom Field Stadium.
