The 2023 State of the Base was held on Thursday, 2 March in the Cary W. Martin Conference Center in the Roy H. “Sonny” Watson Health Pavilion. A crowd of more than 300 community leaders, development partners, and base supporters showed up to hear from RAFB leadership about what Robins Air Force Base has accomplished in the last year and discuss their priorities and progress moving forward.
This year’s panel included Col Lindsay Droz, Commander, Installation & 78th Air Base Wing; Brig Gen John Eberlan, Commander, Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex; Col Jeffrey Peske, Acting Director of Contracting, Air Force Sustainment Center; Col Brian Clough, Deputy Director of Engineering & Techincal Management, Air Force Sustainment Center; Col Christopher Dunlap, Commander, 116th Air Control Wing; Col David J. “Bo” Rice, Vice Commander, 461st Air Control Wing.
Topics of discussion included hiring trends, economic impact, and what’s on the horizon for Robins.
