It might be cliche this week to offer thanks, but a huge “thank you” to our members who trust us to represent your interests to government.  On Tuesday, April 26th the Robins Regional Chamber signed on to a letter to Congress in support of the Protecting Workplace Advancement and Opportunity Act.  The nearly 400 chambers that signed the letter sent an emphatic statement to Congress that the DOL’s proposed overtime rule is bad for business, bad for employees, and needs to be reconsidered.

In September the U.S. Chamber filed a legal challenge to the overtime rule. And yesterday a judge ordered an injunction, which is a win for small business and a very tangible and meaningful example of what the Chamber does for our members. We advocate.

So THANK YOU for letting us be your voice – to be a champion for business. We are blessed indeed.
