RESOURCESOne of the most basic and critical functions of the Chamber is to serve as a resource of information for our members and the community. In order to do that most effectively, it is important that we focus all of our available resources to supporting our members in carrying out their day-to-day activities. Frankly speaking, our regularly-scheduled events and programs must take a back seat to helping our members maintain continuity of service, make payroll, and take care of their customers and employees right now. This resource page was designed to provide you easy-to-access, credible information about the virus; how to work remotely; assistance for small business; and a list of restaurants and other members that offer take-out, curbside service and other ways to mitigate personal contact. If you’re doing something unique to help your team or others get through this situation, we’d love to know about it. We are an email, call or Facebook message away. We are working on developing resources via Webinar and Video conference and would love your feedback via our survey below to tell us what you need from us (and others) most right now. Our community is strong, and we have proven resiliency. We will get through this and look forward to better days ahead for us all. SURVEY
New Developments Call for New Strategies.
We want to thank our Economic Outlook presenting sponsor, Hargray, for being adaptable and for understanding that when the world changes we have to change with it. While our Chamber’s regularly-scheduled programs & events are suspended, our investors and partners are stepping up to ensure that our Chamber remains a strong resource leading an even strong community.
As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic increasingly impacts families and businesses across the Southeast, Hargray is partnering with educators, and local school districts in their service area, to ensure students have the necessary Internet connectivity to continue their studies during school closings. Hargray has announced programs to support remote learning for students in grades K-12 and college.LEARN MORE PRESS RELEASE
